KCSL

The last three-plus years at Kansas Children's Service League have been great! I learned a lot, met and worked with some fantastic folks, and even got to bring baby Sully with me to work until he was six months old. Today was my last full time day at KCSL, which was truly bittersweet. I'm looking forward to my new job, but will definitely miss KCSL! Some of my co-workers brought me this awesome bouquet!

Halloween!

I'm thankful for Halloween! Weston was a space man this year and Sully was the spaceship... So cute!

I was going to be a NASA flight director, but opted instead for an off-the-wall idea I've been joking about for years. I took an old pair of jeans and glued smarties candies to them-- get it? I was a smarty pants!

I also had fun making monster cookies for Weston's school.  But since they were homemade, they couldn't give them to the kids... :-(

Not a Success, but Trying Again!

So, my original idea to post one thankful thought every day was a bust. I definitely have something I'm thankful for every day, but I just got busy. Got caught up and didn't make it a priority. So, I'm starting it again and challenging myself to do it every day from now until the new year...
